only the covers are not usefull, for the correct fitment you need also the backingplates, these are special items for this lamps and delivered as set of two glasses and two plates. if you do not have the plates, you just can can scrap this glasses. the only way to se them, is, if you gave this laps and your glasses are defect and the plates in good shape. therefore you can use them as sparepart.

They can also be used with coloured bulbs.

And you need to have red reflective parts somewhere on the back of the car, of course.

Maybe the laws are different in Germany, but either way, one could use them without problems on car shows.

Take a look at some photos of 205's with these lenses and you'll see that most didn't have the coloured backings.

factory-fabricated yellow bulbs are nomally equipped with other hooks and will not fit.
yellow painted bulbs are not street-legal.
the original fifft-backing plates are manufactured with yellow housings in the plate, so you can use the normal clear bulbs.
if you use the normal plate oft the oem-lamps, the conversion is not legal.

p.s.
if you will have a look on my old 205 diesel, you will see the same lights installed - in red.
my car was he first in germany with this lights. if any other driver use only the glasses - it's not correct and not legal.
